Millinery

Fascinator - the word originally referred to a fine, lacy head covering akin to a shawl and made from wool or lace like these two worn in the portrait of Theda Bara (left) and by Solveig (right). So pretty and glamorous. I am determined to crochet one some day! I see the term "Fascinator" describing amazing headpieces and accessories on Etsy that are really over the top; and, although there is a time and place for those, I really love the traditional version of the sweet little cap.
